I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Pasadena. I have a BA from Rutgers University and a Masters from Columbia. I also have a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from Newport Psychoanalytic Institute and have done countless continuing education units on current eating disorder research, mind/body connection and most recently nutrition and the mind/gut connection.
I have worked in the Pasadena community for almost 20 years and am noted for my specialization in working with eating disorders, but also treat a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and women in their transition through menopause.
I was the clinical director at Pasadena Mental Health Center where I supervised students from USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, Fuller Theological Seminary and many more. In my practice I supervise interns who are collecting hours towards licensure.
I also served as a consultant for The Foundation for Living Beauty, a cancer support community focusing on wellness and Teen Futures which is a community health improvement program focusing on teen choices, and information around sexual health.
